Maymay Entrata Shares Final Moments with Mother

Maymay Entrata recently revealed the heartbreaking news of the passing of her beloved mother, Mrs. Lorna Entrata, after a two-year battle with cancer. The singer-actress shared intimate moments that captured their strong bond during her mother’s illness, emphasizing the importance of cherishing every moment spent together.

Capturing Precious Memories in Japan

On her Instagram account, Maymay posted a touching video showing her and her mother walking and chatting happily in Japan. They laughed, shared stories, and even sang together, showcasing a tender and joyful connection despite the challenges of illness.

In the video, Maymay mimicked her mother’s dance moves to the song “Amakabogera.” Her mother expressed her gratitude, saying, “Suwerte ako sa mga anak ko, peace. ‘Wag mo ako alalahanin, I can manage myself. The way you worried about my situation that I’m weak, dapat normal lang.” This heartfelt statement reflects her strength and desire for normalcy despite her condition.

The Meaning Behind Their Song Choices

They sang “That’s What Friends Are For,” which highlighted the warmth of their relationship, and Maymay’s mother’s beautiful voice touched many viewers. They also sang Yeng Constantino’s “Hawak Kamay,” a song that Maymay described as very meaningful, replying simply, “oo sobra.”

Heartfelt Tribute to a Courageous Mother

Maymay wrote an emotional caption alongside the video, expressing her deep love and gratitude.

Lessons from the Final Moments with Mother

Maymay shared that the video might be their last joyful moment together before returning to the Philippines. She added a poignant reminder: “Ps.
