The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) has issued an alert for moderate to heavy rain showers expected to affect Metro Manila and eight other areas in Luzon this Tuesday afternoon. - Metro Manila
- Tarlac

- Pampanga

Current Conditions and Affected Nearby Areas
Pagasa also reported that similar weather conditions, including moderate to heavy rainfall, are already present in parts of Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, and Zambales. These conditions may continue for the next two hours and could spread to adjacent localities. Specifically, the affected towns include:
- Nueva Ecija: Jaen, Santa Rosa, Cabanatuan, Palayan, Talavera, Llanera, General Mamerto Natividad, Penaranda

The local authorities advised everyone in these areas to take necessary precautions to reduce the risks linked to these weather hazards, such as flash floods and landslides.
Weather Updates: Low-Pressure Area and Southwest Monsoon
Earlier, Pagasa confirmed the formation of a new low-pressure area outside the Philippine area of responsibility. Although this system currently has a low chance of developing into a tropical cyclone, the weather bureau continues to monitor its progress closely.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon, locally called habagat, is actively affecting many parts of the country, bringing extended rainfall across various regions.
Citizens are encouraged to stay updated with official announcements and prepare for possible disruptions caused by the ongoing weather conditions.
