Monsta X Connect X Concert Marks Full Group Return

Monsta X Connect X Concert Scheduled for 2025

K-pop boy band Monsta X is set to reunite for their first full-group concert in three years. Their much-anticipated “2025 Monsta X Connect X” concert will take place from July 18 to 20 at the KSPO Dome within Seoul Olympic Park. Following their Seoul performances, the group will bring the show to Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Japan, on August 27 and 28.

The band announced the concert dates through their social media accounts, sharing a striking, fluorescent-hued poster that symbolizes interconnected spaces. In addition, fans worldwide will have the chance to watch the live stream of the July 20 Seoul concert, broadening accessibility.

Celebrating a Decade Through Music and Reunion

This concert follows the release of Monsta X’s digital album, “Now Project vol.1,” commemorating their 10th anniversary since debut. It has been four years since the group released an album featuring all members together. This special album includes re-recorded tracks initially released from 2021 to 2023, which leader Shownu missed due to his military service.

The 10-track collection features songs like “Rush Hour,” “Love,” “Beautiful Liar,” “Autobahn,” and “Ride with U,” all freshly recorded with the six members’ voices. Notably, member Hyungwon recently completed his military service on May 13, ending the group’s hiatus tied to mandatory duties.

Monsta X Connect X Concert Reignites Fan Excitement

Fans have responded enthusiastically to the revamped songs, praising their emotional depth and the synergy of the full lineup. The album captures Monsta X’s unique musical evolution and identity, highlighting the sound that defines them across different eras.

Since debuting on May 14, 2015, with the mini-album “Trespass,” Monsta X quickly built a strong fanbase known as Monbebe. Their hits such as “Dramaram,” “Shoot Out,” and “Love Killa” contributed to their reputation for outstanding live performances both domestically and internationally.

Members Express Gratitude to Monbebe

Each member shared heartfelt messages thanking fans for their unwavering support over the past decade. Leader Shownu remarked, “I cannot believe that 10 years have passed already. We were able to come this far thanks to our members, Monbebe, and those who always support us. I still have a lot to work on and have much to learn, but I am really thankful to those who have trusted and stayed with me. As a leader and an artist, I will keep walking this path sincerely without losing my initial mindset. I truly love you, Monbebe!”

Minhyuk added, “I first greeted you as Minhyuk of Monsta X in 2015. Being able to greet you again like this in 2025 feels overwhelming and fills me with gratitude. I am standing here today thanks to the members who have shared laughter and tears with me for a long time, and to Monbebe who has always been by my side. I will continue to work hard with our members to repay all your love with an even better version of myself. I love you, Monbebe!”

Kihyun also expressed his appreciation: “I was able to be active under the name of Monsta X for the past 10 years entirely thanks to Monbebe. As I know that it is not something to take for granted, I want to take this moment to express my sincere appreciation to our fans. Together with our members, I will do my best to return all the love we have received through great music and performances. Monsta X is just beginning. I love you, Monbebe!”

Hyungwon reflected, “Over the past 10 years, I have had so many happy moments just because I was Hyungwon of Monsta X. The overwhelming emotions I felt on stage, the countless journeys with the members, and above everything else, the memories with Monbebe who were there through it all — these are memories I will never forget. I sincerely thank Monbebe for always trusting and supporting us, and I hope we can continue to fill the coming days with even more memories and happiness. I love you, Monbebe!”

Joohoney said, “Monsta X is here today because Monbebe has been with us. 10 years is not a short time in someone’s life, so I’m really thankful that you have made room for Monsta X and me, Joohoney, in yours. Thanks to Monbebe, I have been able to smile and dream even bigger on stage. I will continue to work hard to be a Joohoney that you can be proud of. I truly love you, Monbebe!”

Finally, I.M shared, “It still feels surreal that we are celebrating our 10th anniversary of debut. Reflecting on all the time I have spent with the members under the name Monsta X, I think every single moment was only possible because of Monbebe. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support throughout this long 10-year adventure, and please continue to stay with us. I love you, Monbebe!”

Monsta X’s Impact on Music and Entertainment

Since 2018, Monsta X has broken ground as the first K-pop group to join the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball tour in the United States, appearing multiple times between 2019 and 2021. Their success includes their first full-length American album, “All About Luv,” which reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart, followed by “The Dreaming,” which stayed on the chart for two weeks.

Beyond music, members have made significant strides in Korean variety shows and hosting roles. For instance, Shownu earned a prestigious digital content award for his hosting duties, while Minhyuk and Joohoney have taken on MC roles in popular programs. Hyungwon is set to host the Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025.

Despite their individual pursuits, the members have now reunited, excited to deliver a full-group comeback that honors their journey and their fans.
