SAN ANTONIO, Quezon – On Independence Day, a dramatic police encounter unfolded in Barangay Arawan, resulting in a murder suspect killed and two others arrested. Authorities confirmed this took place during a follow-up operation targeting suspects linked to a recent fatal shooting.
The murder suspect, identified as Aniceto, 39, from Balayan, Batangas, was fatally wounded during the exchange of gunfire. His two companions, Gonzalo, 38, also from Balayan, and Jay-R, 38, a resident of Barangay Arawan, were taken into custody.
