Only We Know Film Stars on Intimate Scenes
Actors Charo Santos and Dingdong Dantes, lead stars of the romantic film Only We Know, recently addressed questions about their intimate scenes in their first collaboration. At a media conference held at ABS-CBN in Quezon City, both actors smiled and laughed when asked if the film included intimate moments.
Dingdong asked the press what they considered intimate scenes, particularly referring to kissing scenes. He replied playfully, “Only we know,” which sparked laughter among reporters. Charo added that whether intimate scenes are necessary depends entirely on the story’s context. “Depende sa context. Kailangan nasa context ng kwento,” she explained.
When the media sought clearer answers, director Irene Villamor simply responded, “Secret.”
Mutual Respect Between Only We Know Film Stars
Before filming, Charo described Dingdong as a very skilled actor. She shared, “He’s a very good actor. Hindi ko pa sya nakasama ever. Nasa ABS-CBN ako nasa GMA siya. But I saw him grow and mature as an actor. Mas nakilala ko talaga ang galing niya when he appeared in several Star Cinema movies.” She also recalled their first meeting to discuss a story, which eventually led to their project together.
Dingdong expressed admiration for Charo’s leadership in the industry. “She’s an industry leader behind the success of a broadcast company. She is also the success behind the talent of our actors.” He admitted feeling some fear, calling it “like going to an audition of my life.” However, Charo eased his worries, allowing him to be himself. “Nagawa ko yung dapat gawin and I am grateful,” he said.
