Tropical Storm Emong and Dante Updates
According to recent sources, Tropical Storm Emong has been tracked about 150 kilometers west of Laoag City, moving southwest at 20 kilometers per hour. It carries maximum sustained winds of 65 kph with gusts reaching up to 80 kph. Experts warn that Emong may strengthen to a severe tropical storm before making landfall on Friday.
At the same time, Tropical Storm Dante continues to hold its strength, moving north-northwest at 25 kph. It is located approximately 835 kilometers east-northeast of extreme Northern Luzon, with winds similarly at 65 kph and gusts up to 80 kph.
