Massive Illegal Drug Seizures in Nationwide Operations
Authorities have seized illegal drugs valued at around P1.08 billion during extensive anti-narcotics operations conducted nationwide from May 23 to 30. These efforts, involving various government agencies, targeted drug distribution networks and cultivation sites across the country.
According to reports, a total of 63 operations were carried out, including buy-bust stings and marijuana eradication activities. These coordinated efforts resulted in the arrest of 91 individuals linked to illegal drug activities. The detainees included 41 drug dealers, 27 visitors or clients of drug dens, 12 owners or maintainers of drug dens, five employees of these dens, two possessors of illegal substances, one courier, and one importer.

They recovered 156,407.80 grams of shabu, 80.94 grams of dried marijuana leaves, 5,000 grams of dried marijuana stalks, and 61,662 pieces of marijuana plants.
