Pag-IBIG Fund Home Loan Releases Increase in First Quarter

Pag-IBIG Fund Home Loan Releases Rise by 8 Percent in Early 2025

From January to March 2025, the Pag-IBIG Fund disbursed a total of P30.22 billion in home loans, marking an 8 percent growth compared to the P28.09 billion released during the same period last year. This increase of over P2 billion highlights the agency’s ongoing dedication to making homeownership more accessible for Filipino families.

Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development officials, who oversee the Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees, emphasized that this strong performance reflects the Fund’s commitment to affordable housing. As one source explained, the progress aligns with the momentum of the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, aimed at providing dignified shelter to Filipinos nationwide.

Supporting Affordable Housing Through the 4PH Program

According to reliable sources, the loan releases in the first quarter helped 20,315 members purchase their own homes, demonstrating the Fund’s vital role in improving housing accessibility. The agency also supports the government’s flagship 4PH Program by financing developers, contractors, local government units, and individual buyers involved in housing projects.

In the first three months alone, Pag-IBIG Fund allocated nearly P988 million to the 4PH Program. This funding benefited 669 members and their families, allowing them to secure homes under the initiative. This shows how the agency not only provides financial assistance to individual borrowers but also backs large-scale housing developments.

Commitment to Financial Strength and Member Welfare

Officials familiar with the matter noted that Pag-IBIG Fund’s performance highlights both its financial stability and its dedication to Filipino workers. One executive expressed gratitude to members and stakeholders for their ongoing trust, which fuels the Fund’s efforts to expand home financing opportunities.

The agency remains focused on offering affordable and reliable housing programs that contribute to building stable and dignified lives for Filipino families. Through sustained progress in home financing, Pag-IBIG Fund continues to answer calls from national leadership to uplift the living conditions of many citizens.
