Pamilya Pass 1+3 Promo Launched to Support Families
On June 1, President Marcos officially introduced the Pamilya Pass 1+3 promo across the country’s main rail lines. This initiative aims to help families reduce transportation expenses while encouraging quality bonding time every Sunday.
The Pamilya Pass 1+3 promo offers a special deal: for every one paying family member, up to three other family members can ride for free on major rail systems including the MRT-3 and LRT Lines 1 and 2. This benefit applies every Sunday starting June 1 and will continue through June 2028.
President Emphasizes Importance of Family Time
During the launch event, the president highlighted the challenge commuters face balancing work and family life. He noted, “Alam naman natin na napakahirap ng oras ng mga komyuter. Madalas nating marinig wala na kaming oras sa pamilya.” He encouraged families to seize this opportunity, saying, “Kaya bigyan natin ng chance para makasama ang inyong pamilya sa pamamagitan nitong Pamilya Pass 1+3 promo.”
Government Commitment to Affordable Transportation
The Department of Transportation also affirmed the administration’s dedication to making public transit more accessible and affordable. A senior official shared, “Kabilin-bilinan ng Pangulong Bongbong Marcos na gawing mas abot-kaya ang pampublikong transportasyon.” This new promo is expected to ease the financial burden on families, allowing them to enjoy more meaningful time together every Sunday.
How Families Can Benefit from the Promo
Families can take advantage of the Pamilya Pass 1+3 promo by simply purchasing a single ticket on designated rail lines. Up to three additional family members can then accompany the paying passenger without extra cost. This initiative not only saves money but also promotes weekend family outings, strengthening bonds amid busy schedules.
The promo reflects the government’s broader efforts to enhance public transportation services while supporting Filipino families. With a duration set until mid-2028, it provides a long-term solution for commuters seeking affordable travel options.
