Pampanga Drug Bust Seizes Over P900,000 Shabu, Firearm

Four High-Value Targets Nabbed in Pampanga Drug Bust

Mabalacat City, Pampanga — Authorities successfully apprehended four high-value targets in two separate anti-drug operations on the night of September 1. The raids resulted in the seizure of shabu worth over P900,000 and a firearm, officials reported.

The police intensified efforts to disrupt illegal drug activities, focusing on high-profile suspects. This crackdown in Pampanga underscores the government’s commitment to combatting narcotics trafficking with precision and intelligence-driven operations.

First Buy-Bust Yields P367,200 Worth of Shabu and Firearm

The initial buy-bust was conducted at 9:45 p.m. in Barangay Sta. Lucia, Magalang. A suspect known by the alias “Bong,” 24, was arrested after allegedly selling a sachet of crystal meth to an undercover officer. Community members confirmed Bong’s reputation as a high-value individual targeted in the anti-drug campaign.

Authorities recovered approximately 54 grams of shabu from Bong, valued at P367,200. Alongside the drugs, a .38 caliber revolver loaded with live ammunition was confiscated, raising concerns about the armed nature of drug transactions in the area.

Second Operation Nets Three More Suspects and Additional Shabu

Just two hours later, police in San Fernando City apprehended three more suspects during a separate buy-bust in Barangay Malino. These individuals are also classified as high-value targets, local leaders noted.

The operation yielded roughly 80 grams of shabu, estimated to be worth P544,000. All suspects and seized items are now in police custody as authorities prepare charges for filing.

Police Reaffirm Commitment to Anti-Drug Campaign

Brigadier General Ponce Rogelio Peñones, regional director of Police Regional Office 3, emphasized the ongoing dedication to intensified, intelligence-led operations. He highlighted the crucial collaboration between the police, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and other key partners in the fight against illegal drugs.

“We will continue to target high-value individuals to dismantle drug networks and ensure community safety,” Peñones said. The recent operations in Pampanga demonstrate a strong resolve to uphold law and order amid drug proliferation challenges.
