Pangasinan Products Showcase at International Food Expo 2025

Pangasinan Products Shine at International Food Expo 2025

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Eleven Pangasinan products will take center stage at the International Food Expo 2025, held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City from May 22 to 24. This event highlights the province’s finest offerings, bringing together local flavors and innovations for a wider audience.

Among the provincial exhibitors are Hou Yang Food Corp., showcasing bangus and chicken karaage; Elisha Bay Dagupan Bangus and Seafoods, offering processed bangus; and Mama Cili Enterprises, featuring bottled processed bangus. Other participants include Dimalupig and Gabriele Food Products Trading with sugarcane vinegar, Bernal Bagoong presenting bagoong products, and Abundance Agri Tourism and Training Center Inc. with organic agriculture products.

Newcomers and Veteran Exhibitors Highlight Local Flavors

Additionally, Bantog Samahang Nayon MPC brings dairy products, while Nutridense Food Manufacturing Corp. offers ready-to-eat complementary and fortified foods. New exhibitors joining for the first time are Rotico Food Products with Romana peanut brittle, Eldica Seafood Processing, and Anjo Farms Inc., both featuring processed bangus.

Local authorities have expressed strong support for these exhibitors. A community leader emphasized the goal to revive Pangasinan’s famous 3B products: bangus (milkfish), bagoong (fermented fish paste), and bucayo (sweetened shredded coconut). This revival aims to strengthen both the food industry and tourism sector in the province.

Promoting Culinary Excellence and Tourism Together

The International Food Expo serves as a platform to encourage innovation by bringing together domestic and international players in the food, beverage, and ingredient industries. The provincial government plans to leverage this event not only to promote local food products but also to showcase Pangasinan’s top tourist destinations.

Maria Isabela Mendoza, production manager of Rotico Food Products and spouse of a former provincial board member, expressed pride in their offerings. “Romana is known for quality. Lahat ng niluluto namin, quality,” she said. Their Romana peanut brittle has gained recognition as a cherished local heirloom product, reflecting the rich culinary heritage of Pangasinan.

This year’s participation at the International Food Expo 2025 marks a significant step in celebrating and expanding the reach of Pangasinan’s unique food products, encouraging both economic growth and cultural pride.
