Parañaque City Drug Bust Nets Four High-Value Suspects

Parañaque City Drug Bust Targets High-Value Personalities

Authorities in Parañaque City successfully arrested four alleged high-value drug personalities in a recent buy-bust operation, seizing approximately P2 million worth of suspected shabu. The operation, carried out along Ninoy Aquino Avenue in Barangay San Dionisio, underscores intensified efforts to dismantle drug networks in the area.

Operation Details and Seized Evidence

Officials reported that operatives from the Southern Police District’s Drug Enforcement Unit and Investigation Division conducted the sting on Wednesday. About 300 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated, carefully packed in six plastic sachets. Alongside the drugs, buy-bust money, a cellphone, and drug paraphernalia were also recovered from the suspects.

Local leaders noted the operation was coordinated closely with barangay officials and documented in the presence of media representatives to ensure transparency.

Suspects Now Facing Charges

The four individuals arrested include three men aged 29, 34, and 45 years old, and a 29-year-old woman. They are now facing charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The seized substances have been submitted to the Southern Police District forensic unit for further examination and testing.

Police Leadership Commends Swift Action

Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin, chief of the National Capital Region Police Office, praised the operatives for their prompt and decisive action. He emphasized that the arrests align with directives from Philippine National Police chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III, who called for “swift and responsive police service.”

“We will not allow illicit drugs to continue to destroy the future of our communities,” Aberin stated firmly.

Ongoing Efforts to Combat Illegal Drugs

Community members said that operations targeting high-value drug personalities will persist as part of the government’s sustained campaign against illegal drugs. Authorities reaffirm their commitment to protecting communities from the harmful effects of narcotics and ensuring safer neighborhoods for all residents.
