Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting Updates Operation Hours
The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting announced that starting Friday, May 16, it will adjust its monitoring schedule to operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. This new schedule ends the previous 24/7 operation that began on election day, May 12, 2025.
A spokesperson explained, “We’re no longer monitoring the count (transmitted votes) 24/7. It also allows our volunteers to rest.” This change aims to balance continuous election monitoring with the well-being of volunteers.
Continuing the Audit of Election Returns
The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting will continue auditing election returns until June 12. Currently, they have gathered 16,226 election returns, which represent approximately 17.4% of the total election returns nationwide.
Volunteers remain essential to this process. Those interested in contributing can visit the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting command center located on Macaraig Street in Sampaloc, Manila.
Volunteer Participation and Support
The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting continues to encourage more volunteers to join its efforts in ensuring transparent and responsible election processes. Volunteer participation is crucial to maintaining accurate vote monitoring and timely audits.
By adjusting their operation hours, the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting hopes to sustain volunteer engagement while maintaining effective oversight of the election returns.
