Pasay Rainbow Ball 2025 Kicks Off Pride Month
The Pasay City government is gearing up to honor LGBTIQ+ Pride Month with the vibrant Pasay Rainbow Ball 2025. This lively celebration will take place on June 27 and includes a grand parade followed by an exciting ballroom competition.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano shared that the event starts at 4:00 p.m. in Barangay 66, located at the corner of Arnaiz Avenue. From there, the pride parade will move through Park Avenue and Galvez, continue along F.B. Harrison, and conclude at Derham Park near the Cuneta Astrodome. The parade is open to all LGBTQIA+ individuals aged 18 and above, who are encouraged to wear festive, glamorous, or unique costumes to showcase their pride.
Parade Participation and Prizes
Participants must complete the entire parade route to qualify for the prizes. The group with the largest turnout will receive a cash prize of P10,000. Moreover, the parade’s fashion standout will earn P5,000, while the runner-up will take home P3,000. This encourages everyone to bring their best energy and creativity to the celebration.
Ballroom Competition Highlights and Awards
Following the parade, the spotlight will shift to the ballroom competition, which will feature five themed categories. These include Barbie/Ken Realness, Trolls Alert, Heat It Baby One More Time, Marites/Tolits Fantasy, and Pink Eleganza. Each category offers participants a chance to shine and express their unique style.
Cash prizes for the ballroom competition are generous. The grand champion will receive P30,000, second place gets P20,000, and third place earns P15,000. Additionally, the best performer in each category will be awarded P2,000. This competition not only celebrates talent but also promotes inclusivity and cultural expression within the community.
Local leaders noted that the Pasay Rainbow Ball 2025 embodies the spirit of acceptance and pride. Attendees and participants alike are expected to contribute to a memorable event filled with joy, color, and unity.
