Three High-Value Drug Traffickers Arrested in Cavite
Authorities successfully arrested three high-value drug traffickers in a buy-bust operation held in Tanza, Cavite. The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and local police officers carried out the operation on Sunday afternoon.
According to officials, the suspects were apprehended around 3:50 p.m. after allegedly selling a pack of shabu to an undercover buyer. The suspects, identified by their aliases as “Marlon,” 46, “Kindak,” 42, and “Tonggal,” 31, are all residents of Barangay Capipisa in Tanza.
Confiscated Illegal Drugs and Arrest Details
Authorities seized approximately 100 grams of suspected shabu during the arrest, valued at around P680,000. Community members noted that the suspects are on the police drug watch list as high-value individuals, a term used for key players such as financiers, traffickers, and syndicate members involved in the illegal drug trade.
Local officials reported that the suspects are now in custody and facing charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Investigations continue to trace the source of the illegal substances and identify other possible syndicate members.
