PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group Conducts Major Arrests
From August 3 to 9, the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) successfully apprehended 26 individuals during a series of targeted operations. Officials reported that these arrests were made for various violations under the cybercrime law.
Among those detained, 18 suspects were caught through entrapment operations, while the remaining eight were wanted persons tracked down in separate efforts, sources said. The PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group continues to intensify its campaign against cyber offenses nationwide.
