LUCENA CITY – Authorities conducted a successful buy-bust operation in Bacoor City, Cavite, seizing over P1.3 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) and arresting a suspected major drug trafficker late Friday night, June 20. The operation targeted illegal drug activities in the area.
According to reports from law enforcement sources, agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 4A, together with Cavite Maritime Police, apprehended a 32-year-old suspect known as “Geoffrey” around 11:50 p.m. in Barangay Mambog 5. The arrest took place during a carefully coordinated sting operation aimed at disrupting the sale of illegal substances.

At the time of arrest, the suspect was found possessing 200 grams of suspected shabu. The estimated street value of the seized drugs is approximately P1,360,000.
