Buy-Bust Operation Nets Over P1.1 Million Shabu in Rizal
Authorities successfully apprehended a delivery rider and his accomplice during a buy-bust operation that confiscated more than P1.1 million worth of shabu in Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal. The incident unfolded early Friday morning, June 13.
The suspects, identified as Dindo, 42, a delivery rider, and Jec, 29, both residents of the same barangay, were caught with 162 grams of the illegal drug. Police classified Dindo as a high-value target due to his involvement in the drug trade.

During the operation, authorities recovered not only the shabu but also various drug paraphernalia linked to their illegal activities. The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) confirmed that the seized shabu is valued at approximately P1,101,600.
Following their arrest, the suspects were immediately brought to the Rodriguez Custodial Facility. They now face charges under R.A. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
