Meanwhile, at approximately 2 a.m., police in Cebu City seized 205 grams of suspected shabu valued at an estimated P1.39 million. Two high-value suspects, “Jack,” 29, and “Alvin,” were arrested during the sting.
The seized drugs were promptly sent to forensic units in their respective regions for laboratory examination. Meanwhile, the arrested individuals remain in custody at their local police stations as they await charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Dangerous Drugs Act.
Local officials noted the importance of these successful buy-bust operations in the ongoing fight against illegal drugs. “Padayon lang ta sa pagpaningkamot aron mapugngan ang paglapas sa balaod,” one source said, emphasizing the continued commitment to law enforcement.
