On Election Day, the power grid is running normally, ensuring a smooth and reliable transmission of electricity across the Philippines. The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) confirmed in its latest update at 11 a.m. on May 12 that all transmission lines and facilities are operating without issues.

To avoid any disruptions during the midterm elections, the NGCP has suspended all maintenance work. This move guarantees that power transmission remains steady throughout the voting, canvassing, and proclamation processes.

The Department of Energy (DOE) earlier assured the public that there is enough power supply to cover the dry season and the 2025 elections. Alongside, the National Electrification Administration (NEA) confirmed that the energy sector is fully prepared to provide stable and sufficient electricity during the national and local elections.

With these measures in place, voters and officials alike can be confident that electricity will remain uninterrupted throughout the election period.
