MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. firmly assured the public on Friday that no corruption will taint any transaction within the Bagong Pilipinas eGovPH Super App and the eGovPH Serbisyo Hub.
He made these statements during the inauguration of the eGovPH Serbisyo Hub held at the Makabagong San Juan National Government Center in San Juan City. The keyphrase “no corruption in Bagong Pilipinas” was emphasized as Marcos underscored his commitment to transparency and efficiency.
“My instruction to them: no corruption, no fixers, no long lines. That’s what we’ll gain through the eGovPH app and the one-stop shop we inaugurated today,” Marcos said in Filipino during his speech. “This is a new day, and as I said, finally the Philippine government, the Philippine bureaucracy, and our LGUs [local government units] have finally moved into the 21st century,” he added.
Introducing the eGovPH Serbisyo Hub and Super App
The eGovPH Serbisyo Hub acts as the physical counterpart to the digital eGovPH ecosystem. It is designed to assist citizens who prefer face-to-face interactions but still want to enjoy streamlined, technology-driven government services.
On the other hand, the eGovPH Super App is a comprehensive mobile platform that offers a one-stop online shop for various government services. This app aims to simplify and expedite government transactions, eliminating common issues like long queues and corrupt practices.
The Department of Information and Communications Technology spearheaded the launch of these platforms, with strong support and guidance from the Office of the President, local officials noted.
