President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. personally inspected the ongoing packaging of relief goods at the Department of Social Welfare and Development–National Resource Operations Center in Pasay City on Friday. This visit highlighted the government’s active preparation and response efforts for those affected by Tropical Storm Crising.
Tracking Tropical Storm Crising and Alert Levels
According to sources, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported at 11 a.m. that the center of Tropical Storm Crising was located approximately 195 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The storm’s trajectory has prompted the government to issue various Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals to alert vulnerable areas.

The government placed these provinces under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2, indicating strong winds and possible heavy rainfall:
– Batanes
– Cagayan, including the Babuyan Islands
– Isabela

– Northern and central parts of Abra (including Manabo, Pidigan, San Juan, Tayum, Langiden, and others)
– Eastern Mountain Province (Natonin, Paracelis)
– Eastern Ifugao (Aguinaldo, Alfonso Lista)
– Ilocos Norte
– Northern Ilocos Sur (including Cabugao, Sinait, Magsingal, San Juan, and others)

Meanwhile, the following locations were placed under TCWS No. 1, signaling light to moderate winds:
– Quirino
– Nueva Vizcaya
– Remaining parts of Mountain Province and Ifugao
– Remaining Abra

– Remaining Ilocos Sur
– La Union
– Northern Pangasinan (including San Nicolas, Natividad, San Quintin, and others)
– Northern Aurora (Dilasag, Casiguran, Dinalungan, and others)
– Northeastern Nueva Ecija (Carranglan, Pantabangan)
