MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. reaffirmed his commitment to strengthen the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) during the 67th Philippine Army (PA) Change of Command and Retirement Ceremony held in Taguig City. President Marcos praised Galido’s leadership, saying, “Under his watch, the Philippine Army has made great strides on and off the battlefield. Welcoming Lt. Gen. He expressed full confidence in Nafarrete’s ability to guide the Philippine Army with strength and integrity. “I have full confidence that under your command, the Philippine Army will remain steadfast as a pillar of strength, integrity, and professionalism,” Marcos said.
