Joy Belmonte Secures Third Term as Mayor

Joy Belmonte will continue serving as the mayor of Quezon City after clinching victory in the May 2025 midterm elections. This marks her third and final term leading the city, according to the latest partial and unofficial results from the Comelec Media Survey at 10:54 a.m.

Belmonte garnered a total of 800,323 votes, significantly outpacing her competitors. Her closest rival, Diosdado Velasco, received 16,388 votes, followed by Jonathan Cabalo with 10,663, Rolando Jota with 6,625, and Noli Navat with 3,311.

Gian Sotto Wins Third Term as Vice Mayor

In the same elections, Gian Sotto was proclaimed vice mayor for his third and final term. He secured 729,079 votes, far ahead of his opponents. Dante Villarta earned 20,932 votes, Inventor Ingles had 15,275, and June Faelangco received 14,366 votes.
