Arrest Made in Barangay Payatas Dump Site Killing
Authorities have apprehended a suspect linked to the killing of a woman whose body was found at the Barangay Payatas dump site on May 14. The Quezon City police identified the man as Felimon, 47, a resident of Barangay Payatas. The arrest took place on May 23 during a manhunt operation conducted by the Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station (PS 13) in Barangay Langkiwa, Biñan City, Laguna.
Reports indicate that the operation began after a confidential informant confirmed Felimon as the person responsible for the victim’s death. According to local law enforcement sources, Felimon is listed as the second Most Wanted individual by PS 13 due to a homicide case filed at Branch 43 of the Regional Trial Court in Tacloban City.

Further investigations revealed that Felimon has an outstanding murder case dating back to 2018. During his arrest, police recovered an improvised firearm from the suspect, along with one 5.56mm (M-16) bullet tucked into his waistband and four additional rounds of the same caliber inside his pants pocket.
Felimon now faces multiple charges, including murder for the recent killing. Additionally, he is charged with violations of Republic Act 10591, the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition, and Batas Pambansa No. 881, the Omnibus Election Code, linked to Comelec Resolution No. 11067.
