Quezon City Road Reblocking and Repairs Scheduled
Quezon City will undergo extensive road reblocking and repairs this weekend, local authorities said. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) confirmed that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will carry out maintenance work starting Friday night through early Monday morning.
The road reblocking and repairs will begin at 11 p.m. on Friday and continue until 5 a.m. Monday, July 21. Authorities assured commuters that all affected roads will be fully accessible by Monday morning.
Motorists and commuters are advised to plan alternate routes as these works are expected to cause significant traffic congestion throughout the city.

Roxas Street and Rizal Avenue will be closed until July 20.
The MMDA also announced that part of Mindanao Avenue underpass (southbound) will be closed alternately to traffic on weekends due to ongoing concrete reblocking. This activity will run from 10 p.m. on July 18 until early morning of September 15.
