School Based Program Enhances Skills Training Region XII

School Based Program Brings Skills Training Nationwide

The school based program offered by TESDA provides technical-vocational education directly through its own schools spread across the Philippines. These institutions focus on equipping students with practical skills suited to specific industries. TESDA currently manages 57 schools: 19 specializing in agriculture, 7 in fisheries, and 31 offering courses related to various trades. Each program generally lasts up to three years, aiming to produce graduates who are ready for employment.

Expanding School Based Program Access in Region XII

In Region XII, also known as SOCCSKSARGEN, the school based program plays a vital role in developing the local workforce. TESDA ensures training remains accessible by operating Provincial Training Centers (PTCs) strategically placed throughout the region. These centers offer hands-on learning for young professionals, out-of-school youth, and career shifters seeking new skills.

Programs in agriculture, fisheries, and trades align with local industry needs, empowering individuals with skills that improve their employability. Below is an updated list of TESDA’s Provincial Training Centers in SOCCSKSARGEN:
