School District Supervisor Shot Dead in Maguindanao Sur
COTABATO CITY – A tragic incident occurred in Maguindanao del Sur as a school district supervisor was fatally shot on Tuesday afternoon. Dr. Alamansa Ambiton, who served as both the district supervisor for the Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education and principal of Sapakan Central Elementary School, was critically wounded and later died the following morning, local leaders noted.
According to Capt. Argie Eyana, police chief of Rajah Buayan, Dr. Ambiton was attacked while having lunch at a roadside restaurant just across the school campus. Eyana revealed that Ambiton, 59, succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital.
