MANILA, Philippines – Senator Loren Legarda has introduced her first ten priority bills for the 20th Congress, demonstrating her strong dedication to inclusive growth, environmental protection, and social welfare. - Living Wage Act – ensures fair and decent wages for all Filipino workers.
- Monthly Maintenance Medication Support for Senior Citizens Act – provides indigent senior citizens with monthly access to essential maintenance medicines.
- Women and Children Protection Units Act – institutionalizes dedicated services for survivors of abuse and violence.
- Low Carbon Economy Act – promotes a just transition toward a low-emission development pathway.
- Complementarity in Education Act – strengthens collaboration between public and private education sectors.
- Blue Economy Act – supports sustainable use and management of the country’s ocean resources.
