Sexy Korean Men Ready to Dazzle Pinoys in Manila
Eight charismatic Korean performers are set to captivate Filipino audiences with their high-energy show, Wild Wild After Party. This exciting event marks the first time the show will be staged in the Philippines, promising a unique experience for fans.
Scheduled for May 24 at The New Frontier Theater, the show runs for 75 minutes and features a cast of eight talented men. Six of them—Han Saem, Roh Jinwook, Kang Chunil, Kim Donghee, Kim Jinwoo, and Lee Yunje—held a press conference on May 21 at the Novotel Versailles Tent. They not only answered questions but also gave attendees a glimpse of what to expect during the performances.
The exact 4-word keyphrase “sexy Korean men to dazz” plays a central role in the show’s promotion and reflects the performers’ confident appeal.
Show Concept and Audience Engagement
Kim Donghee explained that Wild Wild After Party presents various themes designed to appeal especially to women. Han Saem shared insights into their rigorous fitness routines: “We do exercise every day and we always intake protein every day.”
The show will feature two separate performances—one at 3 p.m. exclusively for women, and another at 8 p.m. open to all genders. Kim Jinwoo expressed enthusiasm about this difference, saying, “When we perform in Korea, we perform exclusively for female audiences but here in Manila, we have a special performance where we invite women as well as men. So I’m really looking forward to how that synergy will be expressed.”
Kang Chunil promised a spectacular show, urging fans to give “a big round of applause and a lot of passion” to make the performance truly brilliant.
Diverse Vibes and Strict Performance Standards
Lee Yunje highlighted the variety among the performers: “Even if it’s the same show, we all have different vibes and different ways of performance. That’s why what we value is the coordination as well the vibe that each one possesses.”
Roh Jinwook revealed the demanding standards required to join the show: “We have very strict requirements in order to be a performer of this party, just like you also have to have a good body. Not only that you should be a really good dancer and everything. That’s why I think it’s a good opportunity for us, for our career.”
Filipino Food and Fitness Inspirations
Since this is Kim Jinwoo’s first visit to the Philippines, he hasn’t tried Filipino food yet but has researched popular dishes online. “What interested me are bulalo, adobo and kare-kare,” he shared.
When asked about their fitness inspirations, each performer named a figure they admire. Roh Jinwook cited Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, Kang Chunil chose K-pop star Rain, and Lee Yunje selected singer Jay Park. Kim Jinwoo pointed to Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao as his role model, saying, “I do like Manny Pacquiao with his muscular body. But not just him but also my friends, my co-actors are my inspiration.” Lee Yunje also expressed admiration: “I really like Pacquiao. He’s so cool.”
