Storm surge warnings have been declared over four Luzon provinces as Tropical Storm Crising approaches, sources said. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported a minimal to moderate risk of storm surges reaching 1 to 2 meters in height within the next 48 hours.

As of the latest update, the center of Tropical Storm Crising was located approximately 250 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The storm maintains maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour near its center with gusts reaching up to 80 kph. It is moving northwest at a speed of 15 kph, which may further affect the coastal provinces warned of storm surge.
