MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court has confirmed that the Pasig Regional Trial Court received online threats through email, targeting its judges. The confirmation highlights growing concerns about the safety of judicial officers amidst digital harassment.
In response, the Supreme Court is treating these threats with utmost seriousness. “The Court is taking this matter seriously and is closely monitoring the situation. An investigation is underway, in coordination with law enforcement authorities,” said a court spokesperson in a statement.
