Taguig Police Arrest High Value Individual in Drug Buy-Bust
Authorities successfully arrested a high value individual during a buy-bust operation in Taguig City on June 4. The suspect, known by the alias Rodel and aged 39, works as a condominium housekeeper and resides in Barangay Rizal, Taguig. Police apprehended him around 3:30 a.m. along Sheridan Street in Barangay Rizal for violating Republic Act 9165, also called the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
During the operation, law enforcement seized 74.4 grams of shabu, with an estimated street value of P505,920. In addition, they confiscated a genuine P500 bill used as marked money, four P1,000 bills used as boodle money, and a motorcycle linked to the suspect. All items have been submitted to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for thorough laboratory analysis.

Brigadier General Joseph Arguelles, acting director of the Southern Police District, commended the Taguig police force for their effective work in the operation. Local authorities noted the arrest as a significant step in curbing illegal drug activities within the city.
