Taguig Police Arrests No. 5 Most Wanted for Estafa
On June 13, the Taguig police successfully arrested a man listed as the No. 5 most wanted for estafa and falsification of public documents. The arrest took place in the busy parking lot of Rockwell Center, Poblacion, Makati City.
The suspect, known by the alias Julius, is a 52-year-old sales agent residing in Mandaluyong City. Authorities apprehended him following the execution of two active warrants of arrest.
Details of the Arrest and Charges
Julius was arrested based on two separate warrants. The first, issued by the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 153 on May 21, charges him with syndicated estafa under the Revised Penal Code. This warrant carries no bail recommendation. The second warrant, issued by the Makati Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 63 on November 19 of last year, charges him with falsification of public documents and includes a recommended bail of P60,000.
The arrest was the result of a coordinated operation involving the Taguig police’s Intelligence Section, Station Drug Enforcement Unit, and Warrant Section. After his arrest, Julius was brought to the Taguig police custodial facility while awaiting a court-issued commitment order.

Brig. Gen. Joseph Arguelles, acting district director of the Southern Police District, praised the police operation. He emphasized the message this sends to criminals who deceive others through fraud and deception. “This is a message to all who continue to prey on others through deception and fraud: you will be found, and you will be held accountable. Our efforts to maintain peace and order will not falter,” he stated.
