Ten Areas Nationwide Complete Vote Counting
As of 10:08 p.m., the Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced that ten key areas nationwide have fully processed all their votes. This milestone reflects the ongoing efforts to finalize the election results across the country.
The vote-rich areas that have completed 100% of their vote processing include the cities of Las Piñas, Manila, and Pasig. In addition, several municipalities such as Mariveles in Bataan, Mexico in Pampanga, Naic and Tanza in Cavite, Polomolok in South Cotabato, Taytay in Rizal, and Calamba in Laguna have also finished processing their votes.
Comelec Reports Over 70% Nationwide Vote Processing
Overall, Comelec has processed a total of 51,316,924 votes, which accounts for 70.24% of the votes nationwide. This significant progress brings the country closer to finalizing the official election results.
Senatorial Race Updates: Bong Go Leads
In the senatorial race, Senator Bong Go is currently leading with 24,276,800 votes. Following him is Bam Aquino, who has garnered 19,293,555 votes. Meanwhile, Senator Bato dela Rosa holds the third spot with a total of 18,566,273 votes. These numbers highlight the competitive nature of the ongoing elections.
