TESDA Expands School-Based Training Through NCR Centers

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) provides hands-on training through its school-based training programs across the country. These programs are directly offered by TESDA-administered institutions and are designed to equip learners with job-ready skills. Currently, TESDA oversees 57 schools: 19 agricultural, 7 fishery, and 31 trade schools. Each school provides post-secondary training programs that typically last no more than three years.

With accessible education at the core of its mission, TESDA ensures its school-based programs meet regional labor market needs. Whether a student aims to work in agriculture, fisheries, or technical trades, these schools deliver flexible learning options to help individuals achieve their employment goals.

Expanding Access to School-Based Training Programs

To meet the demands of a growing workforce, TESDA also manages several Regional and District Training Centers within the National Capital Region (NCR). These facilities operate under different administrators but serve the same purpose: offering practical and up-to-date skills training tailored to specific industries and communities.
