TESDA School-Based Training Programs in Region I – Ilocos

TESDA’s school-based training programs continue to play a crucial role in advancing vocational education across the Philippines. These programs are directly delivered by TESDA-managed institutions, offering short-term post-secondary training designed to equip students with hands-on skills. Currently, there are 57 TESDA schools nationwide—comprising 19 agricultural schools, 7 fishery schools, and 31 trade schools. Each institution offers flexible courses that run for a maximum of three years, tailored to meet the workforce needs of various industries.

In Region I – Ilocos, TESDA operates several training and educational centers to expand local access to skills development. These facilities support the agency’s mission to deliver quality technical-vocational education that’s accessible, relevant, and aligned with labor market demands.
