The Clash Returns with No Shortcut to Success Message

The Clash Returns with No Shortcut to Success

GMA Network’s hit singing competition, The Clash, is back, hosted once again by Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz. The show’s judges this season include Lani Misalucha, Ai-Ai Delas Alas, and Christian Bautista. During a recent media event, Rayver Cruz shared heartfelt advice for aspiring artists eager to break into show business.

Rayver emphasized the importance of perseverance, reminding hopeful contestants that there is no shortcut to success. “Kung ano man ang pinupursue natin sa buhay, walang shortcut yan. Walang shortcut to success at pinaghihirapan yan,” he said. He encouraged young talents to showcase their skills consistently if they truly feel called to music.

“If music is really their calling and I can see that it is, they should show off their talent. So maybe we can start with ‘The Clash’ and after that, wherever they want to go. If they want to be artists, that’s okay. What’s important is consistency,” Rayver added.

Success Through Hard Work and Consistency

The dancer-singer pointed out that simply being chosen to compete on The Clash is already a significant achievement. “If they want to be a singer, kumanta lang sila ng kumanta. Unique ang voice nila. Makuha ka lang sa online audition, kahit papaano panalo ka na,” he explained.

He further highlighted the competitive nature of the contest, saying, “Ang daming sumasali. So win or lose, makasama ka lang dito sa ‘The Clash,’ parang panalo ka na. Then ituloy-tuloy mo lang yun, dahil good experience naman dito.”

Rayver also stressed the timelessness of music as a passion, regardless of age. “Music is timeless. Kahit na ano ang age mo, basta hilig mo talaga ang music, magaling kang mag-express ng sarili mo through music, malayo ang mararating mo,” he said.

Exciting Twist: The Clashbackers Return

The new season kicked off on June 8 with an electrifying twist. The Clash introduced “The Clashbackers,” a group of 12 returning contestants from previous seasons. These artists are back for a second shot at the grand prize, bringing with them experience and a renewed hunger to win.

The Clashbackers include Vilmark, Renz Robosa, Jennifer Maravilla, Arabelle Dela Cruz, Nef Medina, Lyra, Bea, Liana Castillo, Zyrene Ciervo, Allain Maristela Gatdula, Tombi Romulo, and Jong Madaliday. Known for their memorable performances before, these seasoned contenders are eager to prove how much they have grown.

This fresh format adds a new layer of excitement and unpredictability. Returning contestants will compete not only against newcomers but also against their own past performances, showing fans their growth and determination. The mix of fresh talent and familiar faces promises a season full of intense competition and heartfelt moments.

Fans across the country welcomed the surprise return of The Clashbackers, raising the stakes and anticipation for the season ahead. The Clash continues to inspire hopeful artists by reminding them that dedication and passion are key to lasting success.
