Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 Hits Luzon
Ten areas in Luzon are now under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 as Tropical Storm Crising strengthens slightly. The storm is moving west-northwest toward the mainland of Cagayan and the Babuyan Islands, local weather authorities reported.
According to an 11 a.m. bulletin, the storm’s center was located approximately 195 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. The Philippine weather bureau emphasized the importance of preparedness for residents in the affected regions.

In a separate development, Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla confirmed the recent discovery of human remains linked to a missing sabungeros case. Alongside the remains, investigators found a distinctive basketball jersey recognized by a key witness.
Remulla disclosed that one of the two sacks recovered contained bones, while the other held the jersey, which could provide crucial evidence for the ongoing investigation, sources said.
