Tropical Depression Bising Exits PAR but May Return Soon

Tropical Depression Bising Exits PAR; Re-entry Possible

Tropical Depression Bising has left the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), yet local weather authorities warn that its return to the western boundary of PAR is possible by Monday. The four-word keyphrase “Tropical Depression Bising exits PAR” is crucial to understanding the current weather update affecting the region.

According to a 5 p.m. bulletin from the state weather bureau, the storm’s center was last located approximately 345 kilometers west-northwest of Calayan, Cagayan. It carries maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour, with gusts reaching up to 70 kph, and is moving northwest at 15 kph.

Forecast and Movement

The weather agency forecasts that Tropical Depression Bising will continue its slow northwestward movement over the next 12 hours. Afterward, it is expected to turn northeastward over the sea west of northern Luzon. Re-entry into the western PAR boundary may occur by early Monday morning, with a potential exit through the northern boundary by Monday afternoon.

Forecasters also predict that Bising could strengthen into a tropical storm within the next 12 hours, possibly intensifying further as it moves over waters north of Taiwan. All prior tropical cyclone wind signals have been lifted following Bising’s exit.

Impact of the Southwest Monsoon and Affected Areas

Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon, known locally as “habagat,” combined with the outer edges of Bising, will continue to bring strong to gale-force gusts in several areas. Coastal and upland communities exposed to these winds should remain alert.

On Friday, the affected areas include the Ilocos Region, Isabela, northern Aurora, Zambales, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, and Antique.

By Saturday, July 5, the habagat will impact the rest of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Isabela, northern Aurora, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, and Antique.

On Sunday, July 6, the wind conditions will extend to the rest of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Isabela, northern Aurora, Zambales, Bataan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, and Antique.

Residents in these regions are advised to stay updated and take necessary precautions. Local sources emphasized the importance of vigilance due to the dynamic nature of the tropical depression’s path.
