The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) confirmed on Wednesday morning that the low-pressure area (LPA) within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has intensified into a tropical depression named “Crising.” This development signals potential weather disturbances in the coming days.
According to sources, the tropical depression was last tracked 780 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes. Authorities continue to monitor its path closely to provide timely updates and ensure public safety.

Starting July 16, senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) across Metro Manila will benefit from a 50-percent discount on fares for the three major train lines: LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3. This initiative was officially launched by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the LRT-1 station.
