Two Men Arrested in Taguig Drug Buy Bust Operation
On May 19, police conducted a drug buy bust operation in Taguig that led to the arrest of two men, including a driver. The suspects were apprehended in Barangay New Lower Bicutan, where authorities seized illegal substances and marked money.

The Taguig police identified the suspects as alias Jay, 44, considered a high-value individual, and alias Orlando, 29, a driver involved in street-level drug transactions. Operatives from the Taguig police’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit carried out the operation, arresting both men on the spot.
During the arrest, the police recovered 10 plastic sachets containing a total of 54 grams of shabu, valued at approximately P367,200. Alongside the drugs, authorities confiscated a genuine P1,000 bill used as marked money and six other P1,000 bills designated as boodle money.

After their capture, the two suspects were brought to the Taguig police station for documentation and processing. Reports indicate that the police will file charges against them for violating Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
