SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Two women slain found beside highway in Zambales has left local residents in shock. Early Thursday morning, authorities discovered the bodies of Ericha Ednalaguim, 24, from Masinloc town, and Lieh Gabriel, a resident of Tarlac province, in a roadside canal in Palauig town.

According to community members, a resident heard a vehicle speeding down the highway around 3 a.m., followed shortly by a series of gunshots. However, she did not investigate at the time. It was only by 6:30 a.m. that she found the two women’s lifeless bodies lying beside the road.
