Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla has called for unity among newly elected officials. This call for togetherness comes as part of the enhanced Newly Elected Officials Performing Leadership for Uplifting Service (NEO PLUS) training program initiated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
“Let’s all be one — one for your province, one for your region, one for our country, one for our President,” Remulla emphasized during the program launch. The keyphrase “newly elected officials” was highlighted early as a message of solidarity.
He added, “We are entrusted by the people, and it is a mandate. That mandate carries not only the capacity to govern, but also the trust, hope, and confidence that you will make their lives better.”
