MANILA, Philippines — Vince Dizon, the newly appointed Public Works Secretary, has categorically denied having any political ambitions in 2028. Sources noted that Dizon was appointed as the new DPWH chief last Sunday following the resignation of former Secretary Manuel Bonoan. Dizon’s appointment is seen as a move to restore confidence and ensure continuity in public infrastructure efforts.
On Wednesday, Dizon formally handed over the top post at DOTr to Undersecretary Atty. Giovanni Lopez, signaling a smooth transition. This move allows him to fully concentrate on his new responsibilities at DPWH.
