Visayas and Mindanao Weather Forecast
Visayas and Mindanao are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with occasional localized thunderstorms, according to the latest weather updates. Meanwhile, Luzon is forecasted to enjoy fair weather throughout Monday, sources said. This Philippine weather forecast highlights the current influence of the southwest monsoon, or habagat, which mainly affects northern Luzon.
At 5 p.m., weather specialist Veronica Torres shared that the habagat’s effect remains limited to the northernmost parts of Luzon. By 4 p.m., reports indicated partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain or thunderstorms in Batanes and the Babuyan Islands due to the monsoon.
Fair Weather Expected in Luzon
Torres explained, “We expect that fair weather conditions will prevail in Luzon, including Metro Manila with chances of localized thunderstorms.” She added that areas in Visayas and Mindanao will mostly experience cloudy skies with possible localized storms.
As the habagat weakens, the weather may become hot and humid during mornings and noontime, with thunderstorms likely in the afternoons, Torres noted.
Sea and Temperature Conditions
No gale warnings have been issued for any seaboard in the country. However, seas near extreme northern Luzon may be moderate to rough, so caution is advised for local fishermen and seafarers.

- Metro Manila: 26°C to 32°C
