In a significant crackdown on illegal drugs, police anti-narcotics operatives in Dasmariñas City, Cavite, apprehended a suspected big-time drug trafficker carrying over P1.3 million worth of crystal meth, locally known as shabu, on the night of July 4, 2025. Operatives recovered two knot-tied transparent plastic ice bags containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weighing approximately 200 grams. The Dangerous Drugs Board assessed the seized methamphetamine’s value at around P1,360,000.

Local law enforcement describes Nor as a high-value individual (HVI) in the illegal drug trade.
