BOYNEXTDOOR and Jin Dominate Weekly Album Chart
K-pop fans witnessed an exciting race as BOYNEXTDOOR and BTS’ Jin captured the top two spots in the weekly album chart. According to reports from local music industry sources, the rankings covered physical album sales from May 12 to 18.
BOYNEXTDOOR’s fourth mini-album, “No Genre,” soared to first place by selling over 1.08 million copies. This impressive feat translated to 1.15 million points on the physical record index, which combines album sales with pricing to provide a comprehensive score.
Meanwhile, BTS member Jin’s solo release, “Echo,” took the second position with 728,070 copies sold and a physical record index of 945,706 points. The competition highlights the strong presence of solo and group artists in the current K-pop scene.

The third spot was claimed by Meovv with “My Eyes Open Wide,” which sold 255,005 copies and earned 383,052 points on the index. Following closely was TripleS’s “ASSEMBLE25,” achieving 516,626 copies sold but a lower index of 265,578 points. Beomgyu’s mixtape, “Panic,” landed fifth with 44,114 copies sold and 94,404 points.
Additional artists rounding out the top ten include NCT Wish with “Poppop,” E’Last’s “VERSUS,” XG’s “MILLION PLACES,” Tomorrow X Together’s “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY,” and Ahn Sung-hoon’s “Love Story.”
No Genre’s Rapid Sales Growth
Sources reveal that BOYNEXTDOOR’s “No Genre” reached one million copies sold within just five days of its May 13 release. By May 17, sales had already hit 1.07 million copies. This rapid growth surpasses the first-week sales of their previous mini-album, “19.99,” which sold 759,156 copies.
Their earlier releases also showed steady growth, with first and second mini-albums selling around 450,000 and 530,000 copies respectively during their initial weeks. This upward trend demonstrates BOYNEXTDOOR’s growing popularity and strong fan engagement.
